Nocturia (Night-time urination)

A Phase III trial to study the efficacy and safety of SER120 Nasal Spray in patients with Nocturia (night-time urination).

Why This Trial Is Important

SER 120 is a synthetic hormone called desmopressin. It acts like the human hormone vasopressin in decreasing urine production by promoting re-absorption of water in the kidneys. Desmopressin has a stronger effect than the naturally occurring human hormone vasopressin. Desmopressin has been approved in the United States for the treatment of childhood bedwetting and diabetes insipidus. The study will see how well the SER 120 works for the treatment of nocturia (frequent urination at night), and how it affects your health.

Who Can Join This Trial?

Male or Female aged 50 or over and at least 2 or more episodes of night-time urination for at least 6 months history documented.
